8vo, 22cm. Pp. 151-262,[2], several detailed and finely hand-coloured figures on 2 engraved plates, 1 plain engr. plate of figures. Hardbound, old half cloth, marbled boards. Fine. - Classic paper on Swedish marine and freshwater leeches (Hirudinea). - Copy from the library of the Danish marine zoologist and oceanographer Anton Frederik Bruun (1905-1961) with his ms. name and date 1927 on front end-paper. Bruun was the leader of the famous Galathea deep-sea expedition circumnavigating the world in 1950-1952.
